We’re thrilled to be part of Margaret River Region Open Studios this year and even more excited to showcase the incredible work of two local artists, Jess McKiernan and Georgia Zoric.
Jess McKiernan, a talented printmaker and painter, beautifully captures the delicate dance of light on color in her multi-layered screen prints. Inspired by nostalgic scenes from her childhood in the South West of WA, her work is a heartfelt tribute to the region.
On the other hand, Georgia Zoric works with clay to create stunning sculptures and functional pieces that draw from the ever-present theme of the ocean. Each piece is meticulously hand-built using traditional techniques and tools, then finished with custom matt glazes and commercial underglazes.
We’ll be hosting Jess and Georgia for two weeks during the Margaret River Region Open Studios, from Saturday 7 September to Sunday 22 September.
